Another update:

Arlo and I are toying with the idea of running a similar race in May, however this race is only 14 hours. We think that it may help us in our December race, both for practice with the car and practice for ourselves. We will keep you posted on the decision of this race.

Also, we are looking for local sponsors to help offset the cost of fuel and tires while we are racing. 14 and 24 hour races uses a lot of fuel, tires, and brakes, not to mention hotels and driving to the race tracks. Reply or shoot us an email if you have any interest in helping us out.

Hey guys!

Small update today. We got the go ahead from a friend of ours to use a 5.7L 350ci motor that we had sitting in the corner here. It does need a sleeve in 1 of the cylinders, but it should be cheap to fix. This motor should make more power than the 5.0L 305ci engine we were originally going to use, and perhaps may solve our fuel pump issue at the same time as this motor should be old enough to use a mechanical fuel pump. It has flat top pisons, a steel crank, 4BMs, and a Comp 282 cam in it. Should make decent power.

We are on our way! Should start some tear down pictures in the next couple weeks, stay tuned!
