Spend Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday helping Joel with his Z71. The crank in his 383 broke the weekend before, causing him to do an “emergency” motor swap. He decided to go the right way and put in an LS 5.3. Started pulled the 383 Thursday, put the 5.3 in on Friday. Spent Saturday wiring and Sunday fired it up…. It had plugged fuel injectors, but all is fixed now after pulling them out and cleaning them a bit
Also greased everything on my Silverado, checked the gear oil level, repaired the leaky transfer case rear seal (twice, grr), made and installed a grounding kit, and swapped my throttle body.
Was a busy weekend.
